Dr. Bishop started her Prosthodontics specialty practice in Carmel Indiana in 1995.  Originally from England, Dr. Bishop graduated from Birmingham University Dental School with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree. She held positions in restorative dentistry in several London dental schools and obtained a higher qualification in dentistry, the Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.  

 

In 1989, Dr. Bishop came to Indiana to attend Indiana University School of Dentistry for specialty training in Prosthodontics.  She received a certificate of post graduate study in Prosthodontics, as well as a Master's Degree in Prosthodontics.  During her graduate study she received the I. Lester Funas Award.  Dr. Bishop obtained her D.D.S. degree and her Indiana license in 1995. During her D.D.S. program she won the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Pre-Doctoral Achievement Award. 

 

As a faculty member at the Indiana University School of Dentistry for seven years, Dr. Bishop taught Prosthodontics to pre-doctoral students.  She is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists , Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Association.

 

Dr. Bishop now calls Indiana home.  She lives in Carmel with her husband and two children.  She is an avid gardener and enjoys swimming and yoga for relaxation.
