Dr. Bishop's goal is to understand the unique situation of each patient; to present and weigh up options and to provide treatment wihich will give a long-lasting esthetic result. The first visit consists of two consultations:  the Initial Consultation and the Treatment Plan Presentation. 

 

The Initial Consultation consists of a one-on-one conversation with Dr. Bishop discussing the patient's goals and specific needs.  Dr. Bishop will perform a comprehensive examination including a cancer screening of the head and neck.  Radiographs will be taken and study casts will be included as necessary. 

 

Dr. Bishop will carefull evaluate her findings and present her recommendations during the second consultation or Treatment Plan Presentation.

 

The Treatment Plan Presentation will consist of a customized treatment plan detailing difinitive diagnosis, treatment plan, treatment options (when applicable), and firm fees.

 

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to your initial consultation (i.e. artificial heart valves, a history of bacterial endocarditis, congenital cardiac malformations, joint replacements etc.). These conditions may require you to premedicate with antibiotics before we can examine your mouth.
