Christine Bishop, B.D.S., D.D.S., F.D.S.(Eng.), M.S.D.

Dr. Christine Bishop started her practice limited to prosthodontics in Carmel Indiana in 1995.

Dr. Bishop graduated from Birmingham University Dental School, England in 1981 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.). She held positions in restorative dentistry in several London dental schools and obtained a higher qualification in dentistry, the Fellowship in Dental Surgery (F.D.S.). of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Dr. Bishop came to Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1989 to obtain specialty training in

Prosthodontics, a three-year, full-time clinical program. She received a certificate of postgraduate study in Prosthodontics, as well as a Master's Degree in Prosthodontics (M.S.D.). Her thesis was titled ,"The Wear Characteristics of Four Feldspathic Porcelains." During her graduate study she received the I. Lester Furnas Award For Academic, Technical and Clinical Proficiency.

Dr. Bishop obtained a D.D.S. degree and her Indiana license in 1995. She won the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Pre-Doctoral Achievement Award during the D.D.S. program.

She was a member of the faculty at Indiana University School of Dentistry from 1994 to 2000 where she taught Prosthodontics to pre-doctoral students. She is also an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists (A.C.P.) and the Academy of Oseointegration.
